What Is A Bulb Problem On The Ps3 Light Bulb Problem (Power, Reistance Voltage...etc..)

Light bulb problem (Power, Reistance Voltage...etc..) - what is a bulb problem on the ps3

A 3-way lamp has 3 brightness settings (low, medium and high), but only 2 of filaments.
connected a.) A 3-lamp in a special way, which may range from a line of 120 V dissipate 60W, 120W or 180 W to describe how the two strands are arranged in the sphere, and calculate the resistance of the individual filaments.
b) Assuming that the filament of W / burn with greater resistance. What power is dissipated in each bulb 3 brightness levels? What is the brightness (l, m, h) at each adjustment?
c) Part B Repeat situation in which the thread W / mistress is considered the strength.

Thank you!

a) The two components are 60 and 120 watts, has both parallel () of 180 watts.

P = E ² / R
60 = 120 ² / R
R = 240 ohms

120 = 120 ² / R
R = 120 ohms

b) 60-watt light bulb is burned, you get 0, 120, 120 watts of light

c) 120-watt light bulb is burned, you get 60, 0, 60 watts of light
